Your name change notice is now running in the assigned newspaper once a week for 4 consecutive weeks, as required by California law. During this time, we monitor the publication schedule.

Question 4

Phase 04 - Proof of Publication Issuance

After the consecutive 4 weeks are complete, the newspaper prepares a notarized Proof of Publication. This is the legal document the court needs to confirm that your notice was properly published.

Question 5

Phase 05 - Final Court Clerk Delivery
